Privacy policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This policy explains what information Webolution collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Webolution is an independent web design business based in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside. We are responsible for the personal information described here.

Contact: admin@webolutionwebdesign.com or 07964 290428.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, business name (if you give one) and your message.

We don't ask for any other personal information, and we never buy contact lists.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you choose to work with us, to discuss and deliver your project. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: you've asked us to get in touch, and replying is the reasonable thing to do.

We won't add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails.

Spam protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that enquiries come from real people. Turnstile may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details for this purpose only. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy notice.

Who can see it

Your enquiry is stored securely by our website hosting provider and sent to our business inbox by our email delivery service. These providers handle it only to run those services for us.

We never sell, rent or share your information with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them. If you don't become a client, we delete your details within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and as required for accounting purposes.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you won't see a cookie banner.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Just email us and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
